Celebration at KTD, Woodstock, NY
Woodstock On February 14, 2016. From 2-4 in the afternoon, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, in conjunction with the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa’s presentation of Dharma King in Bodhgaya. Over 50 people, including lamas, staff, guests, and local students, joined President Khenpo Tenkyong, Louise Light (Designer), and Maureen McNicholas and Peter van Deurzen (KTD Publications) in celebrating the North American launch of Dharma King, enjoying hot apple cider, pear tart, chocolate torte, and many other good eats. As we viewed Lundrup Damcho’s introduction to the book to over 10,000 under the Monlam Pavillion in India (via YouTube) and poured over the books which were handed out to all who attended, His Holiness the 16th Karmapa’s presence was joyfully felt by all.
